Known in Ayurveda as the "healing metal," Kansa has been used in Indian wellness rituals for over 5,000 years. The Kansa Vatki brings this ancient tradition to the most grounding ritual of all, the foot massage. Handcrafted by artisans from a sacred blend of copper and tin, its smooth, generous dome is shaped for the feet and lower legs, gliding over warm oil to stimulate marma points, ease tension, and draw the body into deep rest. A few minutes each evening is all it takes to unwind the day.

Helps ease tired, heavy legs and supports a feeling of lightness and balance

HOW TO USE
Begin with clean, dry feet. Apply a generous layer of Ayurvedic body or massage oil.
Hold the Vatki dome-side down and glide it in slow circles over the soles, heels, and arches.
Work upward along the ankles and calves using long, gentle strokes.
Massage each foot for 5–10 minutes; for a full Kansa Vatki ritual, allow 30 minutes before bed.
A light grey residue may appear on the skin — this is a natural reaction between the metal and oil. Simply wipe or rinse away.
SUITABLE FOR
All skin types and all ages
Anyone seeking better sleep, grounding, or relief for tired feet and legs
Those who prefer a self-massage ritual over full-body treatments
The Kansa Wand is designed for the delicate contours of the face, while the Kansa Vatki's larger dome is made for the feet, calves, and broader areas of the body. Both work with the same healing Kansa metal — together they form a complete head-to-toe Ayurvedic ritual.
Yes. Oil allows the Kansa bowl to glide smoothly and enhances the ritual. For best results, pair it with a dosha-specific Ayurvedic body and massage oil from our Body Care Collection.
This is completely normal and, in Ayurveda, considered a sign the tool is working. The greying is a natural reaction between the kansa metal, the oil, and the skin. It washes off easily with water or a damp cloth.
Daily, ideally in the evening. A short 5–10 minute foot massage before bed helps calm the mind and prepare the body for rest. A longer 30-minute ritual once or twice a week deepens the benefits.
Yes. Its wide dome makes it ideal for the calves, thighs, arms, and back anywhere larger surface areas need soothing. For the face, we recommend the Dual flow Kansa Wand.
